Who? Where? What?
The Women in Fellowship was set up in 2025 to provide a Christian community for women of all ages. We provide a social space for people to get together and engage in activities as well as offer interesting talks from people within St John's as well as from external speakers.
Since our inaugural cream tea we have run a variety of activities. One key activity is our quarterly breakfast meeting which we hold on a Saturday morning. Our speakers to date have included a former editor of Hello Magazine and author, a local yoga teacher, one of our retired clergy telling us about life in rural parish and how the communities differ compared to Merrow and our Youth and families minister talking about her involvement with the Christian dramas at Wintershall. All the breakfasts have been of a high quality, entertaining and often humorous.
Our other activities have included guided tours of RHS Wisley, during which even the regular visitors learned interesting facts about the garden, a Christmas themed craft afternoon and a couple of film nights, Wicked and Downton Abbey, in the Centre with an interval for refreshments and socialising. We also joined with the men in Fellowship for an exclusive tour of Guildford Cathedral followed by lunch.
Our group is open to all members of our community. We are a very friendly and informal group and If you are interested in joining us please contact
