What is Messy Church?

Messy Church is an all-age fresh expression of church.

We do this by coming together to be, to make, to eat and to celebrate God.
 

So, we start out Messy Church in the St John's Centre where we begin to explore our theme or story for the day. We might do this with crafts, activities, games, cooking, colouring or anything else the team has come up with. There will be something for everyone, children and adults alike to try- the ideas is to get creative together! 

After this we will go up to the church for our celebration where we hear or see our bible story, sing, think about what we have heard and pray together. 

Then it's back to the church centre to eat! Sometimes it is a picky tea othertimes we have had things like macaroni cheese - but dinner will be provided!
